At the Therapy Center we work closely with your physician to ensure the best care possible. Our clinic opens early to allow patients to attend therapy prior to work or school.

Alan Dale Whitfield, PT, DPT, ATC

Alan Whitfield, PT, ATC/L, Received his B.S. Education from MS College in 1987, Graduated from University of MS Medical Center in 1995 with a B.S. in Physical Therapy, and DPT from the University of MS Medical Center in 2011. Alan has also worked as a Certified/licensed Athletic Trainer since 1999. Currently employed with MS Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center as the Director of Rehabilitation Services.

Professional Education

I received my BS in Physical Therapy from the University of MS Medical Center in 1995, and DPT from the University of MS Medical Center in 2011.

Additional Interests

I am a nationally certified Athletic Trainer and continue to provide sports coverage for local high school athletes as well as work with both college and professional athletes to return them to their prior level of activity.
