Practice Description: There are 2 practice locations for Catalyst Physical Therapy. One is located inside the High Altitude Training Center in Infinity Park Rugby Stadium, Glendale Colorado. This location focuses on rehabilitation of professional and amateur rugby players. The second location is in Denver Colorado and is a part of a Wellness Center focused on a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation and injury prevention.

Amy Kristine Valenta, PT, DPT

Dr. Valenta is the Medical Director for Major League Rugby and owner of Catalyst Physical Therapy and Catalyst Athletic Performance. Medical Director for Glendale Rugby for 14yrs & co-founder of Denver Back Pain Specialists. Amy has traveled extensively domestically and internationally with amateur, professional and international teams since 2002. Dr. Valenta has given mulitple professional presentations on manual therapy, exercise, fitness, ergonomics, concussions and injury prevention.

Professional Education

Dr. Valenta received her doctorate from the University of Colorado Health Science Center. She graduated as the president of her class and received the Mary Gosnell Award for Clinical Excellence.
