Dr. Kari Smith, PT, DPT, WCS, BCB-PM is an associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Des Moines University. She graduated from DMU with a master of science degree in physical therapy in 1998 and with a doctor of physical therapy degree in 2004. Dr. Smith has been the manager of the DMU Physical Therapy Clinic since 2005. She has a background in athletic training, sports related injuries and orthopedic conditions. Dr. Smith also teaches in the Academy of Pelvic Health.Professional Education
