Practice Description: Dr. Sions serves as a consultant for the Delaware Physical Therapy Clinic for musculoskeletal cases. She is Director of the Multidisciplinary Amputee Clinic at the University of Delaware, which is an evaluative clinic for individuals in need of new or replacement prosthetic componentry. Jaclyn Megan Sions, PT, DPT, PhD
I teach spine, limb amputation, temporomandibular joint, osteoporosis, and imaging-related content in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Delaware (UD). My research utilizes imaging techniques to evaluate muscle of individuals with musculoskeletal conditions. I am the coordinator for the Multidisciplinary Amputee Clinic at UD and from a research perspective am seeking to determine the best evaluative tests and measures for individuals with lower limb amputations.Professional Education
I graduated from WVU with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2004 and obtained my DPT from Temple University in 2009. I received my PhD in Biomechanics and Movement Science in 2012 and completed my post doctoral training in MRI in 2013.Board Certifications
