Cathy Ann Sheetz, PT, DPT

I have been a physical therapist since 1982. I have worked in many different treatment settings including acute care, acute rehab unit, outpatient, skilled nursing facility, and home health. Most of my expertise is in neurological rehabilitation and geriatric wellness. I most enjoy working with those struggling with neurological issues including Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic brain injury, and Stroke. I am passionate about health and wellness in older adults. I am certified in LSVT-Big method for those with Parkinson's disease. I am also certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment for Adult Hemiplegia as well as having been an instructor for teaching Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation for therapeutic exercise. Currently, I am a part-time lecturer in the DPT program at Chapman University, work for a non-profit that provides exercise classes for people with Parkinson’s Disease and see private patients.
