Practice Description: Providence Mount Carmel Hospital is a critical access (rural) hospital in Colville Washington. The rehabilitation service provides therapy in both the in and out patient settings. In addition we provide physical therapy services for one of our local school districts. We have 8 physical therapists, 2 physical therapist assistants, 2 Occupational Therapist and 1 Speech Pathologist. The hospital accepts most insurances and we have a charity care program for those who cannot afford care.

Susan Ropp, PT, DPT is currently the Manager of Rehabilitation Services for Providence Mount Carmel and Providence St. Josephs Hospitals in rural Stevens County Washington. She is part of the clinical management and administrative team of both hospitals and shares information on staff engagement, evidence-based management strategies with these teams. Her areas of practice include Acute Care, Neurology and Balance/fall prevention.

Professional Education

Dr. Ropp received her Physical Therapy degree from the University of Washington and her DPT and Certificate in Practice Management from Evidence In Motion School of Health Sciences.
