Mitch C. Ronning, PT

Ronning PT Mitch Ronning, PT, OCS Mitch is the owner and chief physical therapist at Ronning Physical Therapy. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, he received an undergraduate degree in Health Science from California State University Northridge and his Physical Therapy degree from California State University Northridge / University of California Los Angeles. In 1995, he became the first physical therapist in Santa Cruz to be recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as a board certified clinical specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. His continuing education credits include the “Pacific Manual Therapy Year Long Course” and the “Santa Cruz Orthopedic Manual Year Long Program”. Mitch enjoys treating patients of all ages but has a special interest in youth sports. He is a former youth coach in football, soccer, baseball, softball and wrestling. In 2011, he completed specialized training in SPORTSMETRICS- a nationally recognized program featuring a scientific approach to decreasing the risk of anterior cruciate ligament injuries.
