Haim D. Nesser, PT, DPT

Haim Nesser, PT, DPT is an outpatient and community-based physical therapist in New Jersey; He is co-owner of a concierge mobile practice that provides physical and occupational therapy and wellness services at their clients preferred locations within Central Jersey. Haim has a perpetual interest in pursuing best practice, community health and wellness promotion, and serving the neurological and older adult populations; He is a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA), an LSVT BIG Certified Clinician, a Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!Moves) Certified Therapist and a Credential Clinical Instructor. Haim is a robust member of the APTA Geriatrics, serving as the Co-Clinical Liaison for the Balance & Falls SIG (BFSIG) and is an APTA Geriatrics State Advocate for NJ. Haim served as Chair for the BFSIG’s National Fall Prevention Awareness Day (FPAD) Toolkit Taskforce, earning him the 2020 President’s Award for Exceptional Contributions to the APTA Geriatrics. He also served on the Outcome Measures Toolkit Taskforce, which he co-presented on at the CSM in 2020. Haim is a zealous member of the APTA New Jersey, serving as the Event Coordinator for the Geriatrics SIG. Over the years, Haim has pioneered fall prevention efforts in the Garden State, organizing multi-disciplinary fall prevention events on a grand scale in recognition of (FPAD). He has also lead efforts to develop and foster working relationships with DPT programs in the State in addition to government agencies, such as the NJ Department of Health. Haim was awarded the 2019 Special Interest Award in Geriatrics from the APTA New Jersey and was the recipient of Governor Murphy’s proclamations in 2018 and 2019 recognizing Falls Prevention Awareness Week in the NJ.
