Paul R. Mettler, PT, DPT

20 years or more / Doctor of Physical Therapy

Practice Description: Mettler Institute is located in the Chicago loop. DFR therapy specifically targets and non-traumatically restores health to the unwanted adhesions and scar tissue in the dermis and fascia. While DFR can produce remarkable results, it is only one form of physical therapy used by Dr. Mettler and his associates. The combination of this technique with traditional therapy methods (e.g., conventional medical treatments, manual physical therapy, exercise and massage) dramatically improves the outcome.

About

Paul R. Mettler, PT, DPT

Founder of Mettler Center and of the Mettler Release Technique/MRT in 1990 now called Dermal-Fascial Restoration/DFR. DFR is a manual physical therapy that rapidly transforms soft tissue injuries, providing the opportunity to restore function and health to the human body in an unprecedented way. I am looking forward to doing more DFR training with Dr. Jeff Schroder and extensive research and discovery related to soft tissue adhesions through the Mettler Institute in Chicago.
