Continues to practice privately and per diem managing complicated orthopaedic and spine debilitation as well as, conditions requiring rehabilitation expertise in general orthopaedics, work injury management/analysis, ergonomic consultation and graduate educational mentorships.

Stephen McDavitt, PT, DPT, MS, FAPTA

For over 40 years Dr. McDavitt has been practicing in outpatient orthopaedics. In addition to his current faculty positions at South College and Mercer University, he has held PT faculty positions at Boston University, University of New England, and the University of St. Augustine. For over 30 years, in professional service to APTA and AAOMPT, he has served on their boards and has been involved with PT practice initiatives across advocacy, scope of practice standards, education, regulation and payment across the US.
