Anne Kilpatrick Lorio, PT, DPT
Primary courses taught: PT Management Neuromuscular Disorders II-V; PT Interventions II (wound care) ; Lifespan IV: Geriatrics; Service Learning; International Service Learning Elective (potential locations-Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica). Secondary instructor: Neuro I (Anatomy and Physiology), PT Interventions I, Health Promotion and Wellness. Dr. Lorio is a clinical associate professor and a Board Certified Neurological Clinical Specialist that joined the faculty in 2010. Her primary focus of teaching is the neuromuscular series. In addition, she is the director of the annual study abroad trip. Dr. Lorio is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the Department of Learning Sciences in the GSU College of Education. Her research interests focus on Scholarship of Teaching & Learning, Best Practices for Student Engagement and Health Literacy.Board Certifications
