Practice Description: I own an in-home private practice in Minneapolis and southern suburbs. I treat children with neuromotor impairment. This may include (but not limited to) prematurity, torticollis, developmental or gross motor delay, syndromes, or cerebral palsy. I am certified in NeuroDevelopmental Treatment. I enjoy teaching as well. I provide a few adjust lectures per year at the U of M PT school.

Jocelyn Margaret Lian, PT

I started my career with a mixture of outpatient and inpatient pediatrics at the University of MN Medical Center (now Masonic). I moved to an outpatient supervisor/treating therapist role in 2006. I also obtained my certificate in NeuroDevelopmental Training (200+ hours) in 2006. This approach helped me to effectively evaluate why a child can't move in a certain way and how to use my hands to activate their postural muscles to assist them in achieving their goals. Now I own my own clinic.

Additional Interests

I really enjoy birth to 3. I have managed children from acute care to home. I find it rewarding to work with families during this time and see the child progress developmentally (even when we didn't think the child would be able)!
