Simeon A. Lao, PT, DPT

Dr. Simeon Lao PT, DPT, MTC, CFC, CFCE, Cert DN, Cert SMT, has specialized and practiced in the area of orthopedic physical therapy for the spine & extremities for the past 27 years. He is one of the few Doctors of Physical Therapy who can perform High Velocity Low Amplitude Thrust manipulations with expert proficiency. He is a graduate of Emilio Aguinaldo College Manila, Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, he received his Doctor of Physical Degree from the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine Florida in 2004. He specializes in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and is certified by the University of St. Augustine. He has an Advanced Certification in the area of Cranio-Mandibular Management through the Professor Mariano Rocabado, the utmost expert in temporo-mandibular disorders in physical therapy and is only one of 4 specialists in this area of expertise in the Tampa Bay area. The American Academy of Manipulative Therapy has awarded Dr. Lao certifications in Spinal Manipulation, and Dry Needling as well as on track to complete his Diploma in Osteopractic Physical Therapy. Another area that Dr. Lao has specialized is industrial rehab where he is certified in Functional Capacity Evaluation awarded by the Blankenship Corporation, Human Performance Center in Macon.
