About

Jeffrey M. Hoder, PT, DPT

Dr. Hoder is currently an Associate Professor at Duke University teaching Adult Neurorehabilitation in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. From 2012-2015, he was on faculty at VCU as an Assist Prof. in the Dept of Neurology and the Program Director of Rehabilitation and Wellness in the VCU Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center. From 2006-2012, he was on faculty at Emory University. He specializes in the evaluation and management of gait and balance for those with neurologic deficits.

Professional Education

Dr. Hoder received both his DPT and MS degrees in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), now Rutgers University. He received his clinical specialist certification in Neurology in 2003.
