Practice Description: My most recent clinical practice areas include geriatrics and neuromuscular conditions. The general research interest of my group is muscle plasticity in response to training, detraining, normal aging, and chronic disease. Our current research activity involves determining the influence of muscle ultrastructure on motor performance in older adults, and developing exercise-based rehabilitation interventions.

Michael Harris-Love, PT, MPT, DSc, FAPTA

I currently serve the Rocky Mountain Regional VAMC as a clinical investigator and Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center (GRECC) faculty member. In addition, I am a Professor of Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. My previous experience includes appointments and service at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN), NIH Clinical Center, University of Maryland Baltimore, George Washington University, and the Washington DC VAMC.
