Dr. Hayes focuses on health services research in individuals post-stroke. Current research is seeking to understand discharge placement after acute stroke episodes. Her goal is to have each patient placed into the appropriate setting for optimal recovery after stroke. Dr. Hayes is the chair of the Stroke special interest group of the Academy of neurologic physical therapy within the APTA.Professional Education
