Shirley Dzikowski, PT

I have been a Physical Therapist for 41 years and also am a Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner for 23 years. I enjoy working with clients of all abilities, and strive to improve understanding or how they are moving and using themselves. Our goals revolve around successful flexibility, better coordination and dynamic balance, better ability to stand and walk, and managing pain.

Professional Education

University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pa 1979, BS in PT. Many continuing education courses to develop the treatment of the entire person - especially in pediatrics.

Additional Interests

aquatic therapy, focusing on specialty equipment including wheelchairs, special needs bikes, shower chairs, activity chairs, and standers. Also addressing necessary home modifications for access and safety.
