Practice Description: I serve as the Program Director at Briar Cliff University, who has a pro bono outpatient clinic for individuals who are uninsured or underinsured. I also provide prn outpatient physical therapy for Physical Therapy Specialists, a private practice with clinics in Sioux City and Dakota Dunes. Furthermore, I provide pro bono sports physical therapy sideline coverage for underserved youth organizations.

About

Patrick Stephen Cross, PT, DPT

Patrick Cross, PT, DPT, RHF is a tenured, full Professor of Physical Therapy at Briar Cliff University, as well as the Founding Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program Director. He has been employed by Briar Cliff University as a core faculty member since August 2013. Dr. Cross practices prn for a local private practice clinic that provides outpatient and work conditioning. He also provides pro bono acute sports physical therapy services on the sidelines of underserved middle and high schools.

Professional Education

Dr. Cross graduated with Departmental Honors in Exercise Science from Truman State University prior to obtaining his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Creighton University. He also completed a fellowship in rural leadership and advocacy.
