Janice E. Chamberlain, PT, DPT, ATC, MBA

Jan began her career earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine at Central Michigan University in 1985. After graduation, she studied further to be nationally certified as an Athletic Trainer. Jan graduated with her Post-Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University Medical School in 1990. She completed the Orthopedic Physical Therapy curriculum from Massachusetts General Institute of General Practitioners in 2015.She went further by completing Evidence in Motion’s Executive Management of Private Practice in 2018, and completed her DPT in February of 2019. In 2005, Jan realized her dream by opening her privately owned, outpatient physical therapy orthopedic clinic in Westerly, RI. In August of 2016, Jan expanded First Physical Therapy by opening a second location in Mystic, CT.
