Alex has been certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists of the APTA as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. This certification acknowledges that Alex is specialized in the field of orthopedic physical therapy and is only one of a select few to hold this certification. Alex has completed his Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certification and is working on being certified as a Graston therapist. Alex bases his treatment plans around the principal of manual therapy techniques.

Professional Education

Dr. Alex Bua PT, DPT, OCS has been a licensed physical therapist since graduating from Kean University in 1998. After getting married and starting a family, he returned to school and earned his transitional doctorate in physical therapy from UMDNJ.
