Practice Description: Cooper Green Mercy Health Services is a county run health system which serves the uninsured and indigent population. Currently my focus is on orthopedic injuries within this population which has limited access to routine orthopedic assessment. We are partnered with the UAB health system. Our mission is to provide outstanding rehabilitation services in a personable and professional environment where all patients are treated with compassion and dignity regardless of their ability to pay.

James J. Bor, Jr, PT, DScPT
Jim graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and again in 1994 with a second Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He then entered the U.S. Army serving 4 years on active duty. He finished as Chief of Physical Therapy at Fort McClellan, AL. In 2009, Jim graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore with a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy with an emphasis in orthopedics. Retired COL Army Reserve.Board Certifications
