Practice Description: As Global Advisor for Special Olympics, I coordinate training and facilitation of fitness screening-programming around the world. I also consult on development of fitness programs and outcomes measures. As Adjunct Clinical Professor, I teach Health Aspects of Aging for both Gerontology and Global Public Heath minors at University of Montana I work with balance program research for adults with intellectual disability. I consult with Univ of Montana Rural Institute for Inclusive Communities

Donna Bernhardt Bainbridge, PT, ATC, EdD

Dr. Bainbridge has been a physical therapist since 1967, receiving a BS and EdD from Boston University, and an MS from University of North Carolina. In addition to clinical work with specialization in fitness, pediatrics and geriatrics, she was Director of Practice at American Physical Therapy Association where she facilitated development of the FUNfitness screen . She has taught at several universities and presented nationally/internationally. She has directed grants on Fitness-Wellness.
